Our goal of a restoration:
Optimal preservation of the authenticity of your Porsche.
We carry out all work on your car with the highest standard of quality and originality.
Without compromise!
Plan of approach: Using photos you send us, we can make an initial rough estimate of the costs for the restoration of your classic Porsche.
If there is further interest, we can assess your Porsche in more detail in our workshop to make the most accurate quotation possible.
In our workshop we assess the work separately for each part: the engine and transmission, electricity, suspension, bodywork, paintwork and interior.
With a complete restoration, the car is completely disassembled to the last part.
Engine, drivetrain, interior, electricity, etc. are removed until only the rough bare bodywork remains.
All parts are carefully categorized and assessed.
Only in this way can we discover and repair even the most hidden defects.
Each part - no matter how small - will be carefully assessed and prepared for repair or replacement.
When we have dismantled the Porsche completely, the bodywork is the first to be completely stripped.
All paint and sealant residue, unterbodemschutz, etc. is removed to the smallest corners.
Then all bad and rusted parts are repaired very professionally.
Naturally, careful attention is paid to preserving originality.
Much attention is also given to the dimensions of the seams between the body and the panels, such as the doors, front and tailgate, fenders, light units and bumpers.
The end result is a body that is at least in the same condition as ever left the factory.
Protection and beauty: the classic Porsche never was treated so well, even as new.
Today we protect the body with a cathodic immersion bath (KTL). The KTL ensures that the primer is applied evenly into the last cavity. Epoxy dissolved in water gives a conductive paint.
When an anode is immersed in the bath, the body acts as a cathode and generates a direct current. As a result, paint particles adhere evenly and securely to the body and in all cavities, providing a very high degree of corrosion protection.
Painting in the original color now begins.
The heart of your Porsche: the engine with the transmission.
The entire drivetrain is carefully analyzed by us and then overhauled.
We use the original factory- and measurement data for the optimum adjustment of the engine and transmission as the basis for the revision.
Final run and performance is thoroughly tested by us.
That way we get the engine and transmission back to its original state, both optically and technically.
A well-restored interior should exude the right atmosphere.
Dashboard gauges are properly restored, upholstery is conditioned, repaired or - if necessary - renewed.
In any case, we think it is extremely important here not to "over-restore". The interior must continue to radiate the classic atmosphere of the Porsche. That then e.g. a small creak in the steering wheel cover or in the wooden dashboard of the SWB is often preferred in such a case above all to renew ruthless.
Roadworthy: Now your classic Porsche is more beautiful and better than it ever left the factory.
But not quite ready yet.
We are now going to test the car extensively on the functioning of the engine and transmission, listen for wind noise and take a closer look at the body and paintwork.
Only when we are completely satisfied can you as a customer receive the valuable classic Porsche from us, including the complete documentation of the car and the restoration.
